Halo 3 Set 25
These are very high detailed figures, and with a high level of articulation. So they can be set in all sorts of different poses to show different battle scenes. I am bias on this since I love Halo 3, either way these figs. are sweet.

Good fighting game4
If you like fighting games and have a couple of friends to play with you will like this game

Many new features and charcters4
I think this is a worthy upgrade to the original Clash of Ninja Revolution for Wii. There are several characters that have not been seen in other Clash of Ninja games, either for the Wii or GameCube.

There are also some new features, including the Tag Team fights, where you and an opponent can switch between 2 characters in a fight. Specific pairs of characters can do combo specials that are really cool if you're familiar with the characters in the anime or manga.

The controls can be as complex or as simple as you want, which is one of the more innovative features of this series. You can use GameCube controllers, Wii Classic Controllers, Wii Remotes and the Wii Nunchuck. You can also take advantage of some advanced controls, like the new Hand Signs, or just skip those and still be competitive.

While I think this game is very fun and love what's new, I wish they would have done a bit more upgrading to the basic engine of the game. The style and overall structure of the game hasn't change much since the days on GameCube. I feel like there is room for improvement, but overall this is a solid game that will provide a lot of replay value.

A solid game. However it lacks innovation.4
This is a good game that has a lot going for it. Nevertheless, I found that it didn't really feel any different than the previous installment. There is a great selection of characters, and the action is still good. The graphics are nice, however they don't take advantage of the Wii, and the uncreative story mode still uses the lame 2D sprite cut-scenes. The music and voice work are still nice but also repeated. There are a couple of new gimmicks like throwing paper bombs, that use motion sensing, but they don't add much. There is also a new tag-team mode which allows unique moves between some characters. Overall, if you have played the previous games this is just more of the same. If you are new to the franchise, this is a good place to start.

Also, for those who care: there is no option for japanese voice-overs.

Game Informer Review

Admit it. You played it. You loved it. It might have been that first game that made you realize what was coming in this little hobby of ours. This is a perfect port of the original Super Mario Bros. Every last mushroom and goomba is accounted for, and you'll feel yourself slipping into a blissful recollection of your early days as a gamer. Just don't expect anything revolutionary here. The closest thing to newness is the ability to link up with another GBA to play with a friend, but don't worry. Two-player is still available on just one unit. If you're looking for innovation, check out the excellent Deluxe version on Game Boy Color. But for purists, this is the cream of the crop in retro goodness. So, if you're willing to drop the 20 gold coins for this one, enjoy your trip down memory lane.

AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE5
THIS IS THE BEST SELLING GAME WITH 40 MILLION COPIES AS OF 1999 AND THE BEST GAME OF THE 80S, 90S, 2000S. IT IS AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWSSSOMMMMEEE
CASE CLOSED. BOWSER LOST TO MARIO.

Guess who's back?5
All right, so I hadn't really played any video game system of any kind for about 15 years. Got back into it last year. I hadn't really gone looking too deep into GBA games because I had the 2 or 3 games I thought I wanted. Then a couple months back I got thinking, 'I wish they would re-release some of the games I played in Junior High and High School.' So I did some looking. Imagine my surprise on finding one of the greatest games ever and one of my personal favorites was released. This has got to be the single best game ever made. I don't care if the graphics are dated or people don't understand it. It's just plain great. Now I do wish I could save my progress, but that's a minor complaint. I'm remembering a lot of the secrets so I can get through the levels fairly quickly. I just got this today, but give me a couple weeks, I'll be going from beginning to end in a sitting.

A true classic everyone should experience5
Not much can be said that hasn't already been said about this all time video gaming classic. For those of you whose original NES will no longer function, despite all of your cartridge blowing and tapping, this serves as a valid substitute.

As far as I can tell, this is the same game that was originally released on the NES. There are no "special features" that are so often included with re-releases. Personally, I prefer it that way but some folks don't. Veteran gamers can relive the magic while new gamers can experience the classic for the first time.

Although this was designed for the Game Boy Advance, you can also play it on your TV if you have a "Game Boy Player", an accessory for the Game Cube. As of this writing, though, the Game Boy Player is discontinued so you'll have to find one used.

Fantastic Fun For Everyone5
This game is awesome for all ages and any gender. My friends and I could play this game for hours and do. The best Mario Kart to Date. Lots of characters to choose from and tracks for all skill levels. The controls are great and it's a game you just can't get bored of. Even my mom loves it and she is nearly fifty. Yikes.
I recommend it highly.

great5
wish the block level from the old one was in the new version they made the battle levels way to simple...i likeed the old one where it was if you were playing a game of ummmmm well any 1st person shooter game i cant think of any at the moment

Another Hit by Nintendo4
This game rocks! It is a little different from Super Mario Kart for SNES and Mario Kart 64 in that there are two characters per kart, but there inlies the fun! Twice the question blocks, more strategy (as far as when to release your items vs when to hold on to them) and added features like having a second player controll one of the characters (allowing your back character to punch other karts). New courses are a lot of fun and CGI charactes are an exciting challenge in the 150cc races.

Supercharged Characters! - The captains from Super Mario Strikers are back, joined by four new ones, and now you can create your own original team by mixing and matching your captain with an all-new cast of sidekicks. All characters have their own sets of special abilities, making each one play completely differently from one another. New captain super-abilities and sidekick skill-shots add a new level of depth to already crazy soccer battles on the most unpredictable and hazard-filled pitches in the Mario universe. Each field features its own set of interactive hazards that alter game play over the course of the game. **Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Game Play! - There are tons of new single-player modes, from tournaments to challenges to tutorials, but the game truly shines in multiplayer. The game features a robust multiplayer mode—up to four players can battle locally, or they can go online in each specific sales territory for one-on-one matches. **Kickin' Wii Controls! - Building on the frantic fun of Super Mario Strikers, this game gets you into action only possible on the Wii. Primary game play controls use both the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controllers. Use the Nunchuk to control your characters and deploy items. Flick the Wii Remote to perform the defensive "Big Hit" move and flatten foes. To defend against a "Mega Strike" goal attempt, use the Wii Remote to point at the screen and manually defend against multiple balls as they rocket towards the screen!

Customer Reviews

Game is fun, only one big problem though2
I like it, but if you're going through the Cup Mode. Forget it! You won't reach the Striker Cup. The highest difficulty level makes it virtually unplayable. The only way you would even reach the "Cup Round" is if you pulled something outta your *** or you had a Game Genie of some sort.

Soccer wii game5
Mario Strikers Charged Wii game was a birthday for my grandson who is gaga for anything soccer. He loved it and enjoys it very much!

GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!4
I never played Mario Strikers for Gamecube but I'm pretty sure this one is better. Fisrt of all, the controls were great. Tackling your opponents were shaking the wii remote. I love tackling them except for the fact that you gain items when you get tackled which I think is boneheaded. I think they should've just made item boxes for items. Being the goalie needs some time getting used to since the leader is literally smahing 3-6 balls right at you and it's easy to make mistake which will make you miss all the goals. Still, I don't think they could've changed it or anything. Anyways, to sum things up, this game is another great Mario game you CANNOT miss.

Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
Six years. Six long years we’ve had to wait for a new Mario game, and finally it’s here. And even considering the ridiculously unfair expectations,Super Mario Sunshine is almost entirely as good as you’d hope and expect.

The premise of the game is that Mario’s tropical holiday is ruined when he’s stitched up by an evil look-alike for daubing graffiti all over the island. Rather conveniently, there’s a water pump waiting for him to use, which not only washes away the mess but also doubles as a handy jet pack. The jet pack aspect means that whenever you fall off something you have the chance to immediately recover. This built-in safety net means the game can afford to be far more ambitious in its level design than ever before, with massive levels filled with trampolines, tightropes, water-powered windmills, huge coral reefs, and mountains and mountains of platforms.

The whole thing looks amazing, too, with the most realistic water ever seen in a video game, and a near-infinite draw distance. On top of all this are rideable, fruit-juice-spewing Yoshis, extra water nozzles, super-hardcore platform levels where Shadow Mario nicks your jet pack, and goop-generating bosses who seem to live to make Princess Peach’s laundry a nightmare.

After the sweet but rather short pleasures of Luigi’s Mansion and Pikmin, you need have no fear that Mario Sunshine is of a similarly brief nature. There are a total of 120 shines to collect--the same number of stars as inSuper Mario 64--and the game world is at least as large and far more interactive. This is without question the best game on the GameCube yet. That may be no more than you'd expect from a Mario game, but it's certainly more than most of us mere mortals deserve. --David Jenkins

Manufacturer's Description
No one messes with Mario's vacation! Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo GameCube is Mario's biggest, most amazing adventure ever. When Mario, Peach, and an entourage of Peach's loyal Toad friends set out for a tropical vacation on lovely Dolphin Island, they're in store for much more than a relaxing holiday. A mustachioed maniac has mucked up the entire island, and Mario is accused of committing the crime. Armed with a high-tech water cannon called FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), Mario sets out to clean the island, clear his name, and solve the mystery of the villainous vandal.

Super Mario Sunshine sparkles with the same spot-on play control that's made Mario the main man in the vid biz for so many years. Mario has a gang of moves at his disposal, from his trusty jumping maneuvers to all-new FLUDD techniques. Mario can use FLUDD to clean up sludge pools, attack enemies, hover through the air, and more. Special nozzle attachments scattered throughout the island provide even more ways for FLUDD to come in handy.

Like in Super Mario 64, Mario has many things to accomplish in each area of Dolphin Island. Every time Mario completes a task, he is rewarded with a Shine Sprite. Mario's missions include battling giant Piranha Plants, navigating treacherous platform challenges, solving mysteries, and collecting Blue Coins. As Mario collects Shine Sprites, new areas of Isle Delfino are unlocked. This is Mario's biggest challenge ever!

Luckily, Mario isn't alone. Princess Peach and her entourage of Toads aren't much help, but the island's natural population of Yoshis sure are! Mario can ride multicolored Yoshis throughout the island, using their tongue-slurping strength to accomplish various tasks. Other familiar characters make cameos throughout the game, along with a wide variety of all-new characters. Powered by Nintendo GameCube, Super Mario Sunshine is a must-play. Classic Mario action, exciting new moves, and surprises galore will keep you clutching your controller for months to come.

classic mario best gamecube game ever5
super mario sunshine is a classic the best of the best great great game buy it if your a mario fan you wont be sorry

Amazing5
This game is one of my all-time favorites. It's fast, fun, visually stunning, appropriate for any age, and great to play alone or with friends. I simply can't say enough about the colorful, whimsical appearance of this game, not to mention the endlessly entertaining gameplay. I bought this game years ago, and I still can't put it down.

A Good Investment5
I must admit, I was rather hesitant to by this game because of all the bad talk about it. How it was nothing like Super Mario 64 and that the camera was absolutely horrible. Granted it isn't a mirror image of Super Mario 64, I see many resemblances. It's kind of disappointing that they took out the long jump, but I really see no need for it. I also read somewhere that you were very limited to what you could at a given time in this game, but I have to disagree. You can go after a wide array of shines (shines serve the same purpose as the stars in Super Mario 64) at any given time. Also, I'd have to say that the camera is amazing in this game. It's like the camera in a third person shooter, only much better. I'd say that it's even better than the camera in Super Mario 64. People were also saying that the voice acting was horrible; I wouldn't say it's horrible, but I somewhat dislike sitting through cut-scenes. I'm 18, soon to be 19 (in less than a month), and I love this game. I would recommend this game to people of all ages. It's fun, and it's classic.

Like the original, but with more4
If you enjoyed the original, you'll enjoy this version. You get to use other characters with different abilities. It takes a little while to get used to the handling, but then so did the original. I guess I just expected really different levels as well...

Pleasantly Surprised5
I didn't read much about this game, but I remember really liking the orginal Super Mario 64. When I started I was a little surprised to be playing Yoshi, but I've played through and I have to say, the changes are definitely good changes that make the game more fun and interesting. Having the different characters to play adds a new dynamic. Really enjoyed playing. Overall, great game!

Not Worth my $30.002
This game is disappointing. The controls are clunky and hurt your fingers.Don't Buy it new!

A worthy edition to the sonic franchise5
This game rocks. The story is good, the controls are good, and the graphics and soundtrack rock. Also when doing the missions the game doesnt have high expectations to get top ranking in a level like most sonic games do. If you like sonic, pic this game up for a treat.

Three words: REDUNDANT TEST RUN4
Great game similar to Sonic Unleashed! It has very good replay value, but must give it a break after 20 minutes or so. Unless you do much jumping and doing much trial and error, you won't survive for long. Like Paper Mario games, there is too much dialogue you can't skip for the most part.

You keep doing the same test run through different stages, and to me, it is redundant, and IMO quite a learning curve. What you do is not so much tedious per se but confusing, and what do all those items mean? I don't know how to access the inventory. It is difficult to do better than two of five stars unless you have practiced long enough.

The one nice thing other than great graphics, sound, and retro effects during the cut scenes like watercolor on film and paper is that, unlike most Sonic games (especially during the Genesis days, and man those were some awesome graphics back in its day), you don't lose all your rings in The Black Knight. To survive the (so realistic, wow!) dragon, you must get as many rings as possible, because it is hard to dodge those large bites. Just be sure that you truly know how to swing your sword, or you are a goner!

Minor annoyances, confusing inventory, and detraction from what a sonic game used to be, I give this game a B- or B. I have not played it long enough to state whether it would be recommendable.

I have been to England and France somewhat recently, and truly appreciate how awesome the Sonic Team went with this release. IMO Sonic Unleashed is a better game, though a bit more challenging, but less confusing.

Hope this is helpful. In some ways, video games in this genre remind me of Castlevania, and very much graphically reminiscent. In fact, this newest Sonic game featuring King Arthur sounds very much like a candidate for the Castlevania series. After all, they take place in Europe, so there you go!

Zelda: Twilight Princess has some similarities too, but I do not own it and have not played it. Best of all, the Wii is almost perfect--no technical glitches or bugs, but the Wii remote does go through batteries rather quickly.

Just Terrible1
When I heard Sonic and the Black knight was coming out and was finally going to be a good 3-d sonic game I was excited. I bought the game but when I played it is just was... terrible. The story mode gameplay is pointless and just running around (you don't even control the running) and waggling the wii remote. The boss battles were also terrible. It just waggling the remote and hoping that it hits the boss. It really is quite terrible. The story mode is very easy and gets over extremely fast. Even if you like waggling the remote the game still gets over very quickly. Finally the online play. It is crap. You compare your scores to other peoples scores and half the time it doesn't work. The multiplayer mode was their chance hit big like with brawl. Unfortunately, the screwed that up as well. It just more pointless waggling and just gets boring. Don't be fooled by reviews commending the game it deserves not to be bought at all. It really is just terrible.

A New Sonic a New Story
On a quest for world domination Sonic nemesis Dr. Eggman has managed to steal the chaos emeralds once again and this time drained them of their power. As a result not only has the Earth split into distinct sections, so has Sonic. Now he is two beings. During the day he is the usual speed-addicted hedgehog players will remember, but at night he becomes Sonic the Werehog. In either form it is the player's ultimate goal to find the missing chaos emeralds and return them to their proper place in order to set the world and Sonic himself, back the way he should be.

Gameplay: The Two Sides of Sonic
Like nearly all Sonic games,Sonic Unleashed is platform-based. The game combines the feel of 2D side-scrolling that fans of the Sonic series love, with sharp 3D graphics, and throws in an over the back third-person perspective reminiscent of FPS gameplay for good measure. And just as in earlier games, as players race through and explore the expansive world before them, using auto lock to hone in on enemies and areas of interest, they will rely on the power they gain from the rings they collect for a variety of things, but with the new twist of Sonic's split personality, things are a little bit different.

Playing during the day, as you race across the world in the form of Sonic, speed is the main goal. Collecting rings fills you with 'Ring Energy,' which not only provides extra life, but also the advantage of 'Sonic Boost.' With this players can travel at speeds that approximate 300 MPH. In addition,Sonic Unleashed introduces two new features: the 'Speed Drift' and the 'Quick Step'. Speed Drifting is similar to drifting in racing games, allowing players to slide around corners at high speeds, while Quick Stepping is a sidestepping maneuver allowing Sonic to avoid enemies with quick steps to either side. Both keep you moving as fast as possible, so you can get as many rings as possible, which again keeps you moving as fast as possible.

As night falls and Sonic assumes his Werehog form the rings provide a different kind of power more suited to his more menacing appearance. Much slower, but also much more powerful, the Werehog relies on the rings to provide life as well as strength to shield himself from the attacks of enemies. This is necessary because Werehog gameplay, although based in platforming, incorporates significant levels of combat as well. Red orbs gathered as enemies are defeated allow the player to unlock additional combo moves that will supplement the hack and slash and arm stretching abilities that the Werehog always possesses. Whether Hedgehog or Werehog, no matter which form players prefer they will get ample opportunity to explore the two sides of Sonic since each area in the game contains both night and day segments where each form must be played.

Key Game Features:

  • Sonic’s World Transformed - Sonic maintains his high-speed abilities during the day, but at night he is transformed into a mysterious dark form with incredible never-before-seen abilities including 3D-action brawling and amazing agility.
  • Tight Navigation and Speed Control - Players accelerate to super speed with ‘Sonic Boost’ by collecting rings to increase Sonic’s ‘Ring Energy.’ Using ‘Quick Step,’ players will quickly move left or right to avoid obstacles instantly. Additionally, ‘Speed Drift’ allows players to rocket through turns without slowing down.
  • Powerful New Engine and Cinematic Graphics - With its new modified game engine, Sonic Unleashed enhances the classic 2D perspective with mind-blowing 3D stages. Other technology capabilities include global illumination, grid computing, continuous data streaming and an intricate path finding system.
  • Enhanced and Expanded Environments - Many unique and fascinating continents offer the player an opportunity to save the world in a dynamic, high-speed experience. In addition to exploring exciting unlockable areas, players dash through up to nine locations resembling real-life destinations including the Great Wall of China, Arctic Pole glaciers and many more.
Whether it's the updated graphics that retain the side-scrolling feel of classic games in the Sonic franchise, an expansive world to race through and explore or the multiple and new ways to play, Sonic Unleashed offers something for players of any age or level of ability.

Lots of Potential, but Doesn't Make it2
This game has tons of potential: it looks cool, Sonic goes faster than I've ever seen him go before, and it can be really neat when the camera changes angles while you're playing.

However: I hate the Werehog/nighttime levels as much as I've ever hated a game before. The Werehog just plain isn't fun in the least.

The menu screen, as well, is a bore, and navigation as well as simply saving the game is unclear at best. I just want to play the fast-paced Sonic levels, that's all! Talking to villagers and trying to figure out where the heck you are is more than a little frustrating.

If the next Sonic game could just be lots and lots of fast Sonic levels, they'll have a real winner on their hands. Until then, I'll stick with the overwhelmingly superior Mario Galaxy.

Like it better than The Black Knight4
I have both games, and the Sonic Unleashed seems a little more straightforward and less confusing, but both games have awesome graphics. Given the possibility the Sonic Team might have been working on both games simultaneously was worth the wait.

Somewhat challenging even at the beginning, and will make you sweat. That's the purpose of the Wii--to make us more mentally and physically fit.

Sonic games are quite mindless and not educational, but classic old fun that is worth every golden ring there is to offer. That is, until you take a hit.

Sonic Unleashed3
This game has its share of fun quality. It is basically a Sonic version of Zelda Twilight Princess.

Classic Mario fun with a twist!5
This game is the latest entry in the great line of Mario titles in video game history. It's similar to Super Mario Sunshine (but better) and Super Mario 64, and as much fun as the best Mario games of the past.

The central conceit of this game is that Mario journeys through many small "worlds" each with its own gravity. As a result, there's a lot of strange, disorienting gameplay, but it never gets frustrating and is always fun. The controls are intuitive and responsive, and the gameplay is polished to the high standard that we expect from Mario games. Although the game starts out fairly easy, some of the levels are quite challenging, even for veteran gamers. Fortunately, it's not necessary to beat every level to finish the game, so newer players will be able to enjoy this game as well, while still having challenges to tackle.

The structure of the game is similar to previous Mario titles, with Mario adventuring through various worlds trying to find stars. After obtaining a certain number of stars, the final level is unlocked and if Mario beats Bowser you can see the ending. However, there is a tremendous amount of content to do even after seeing the ending. There's the challenge of getting all 120 stars, and even after you've done that there's a pleasant surprise which greatly extends the length of the game...

The music and graphics in Super Mario Galaxy really deserve to be commended. While the Wii is not nearly as powerful as the PS3 or Xbox 360, this game proves that you don't need the strongest technical specs to have great graphics. The game is a bit cartoony, but in a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing way. The music is also superb, which is slightly surprising for a game which does not have a tremendous amount of plot or narration.

If you're a veteran gamer, you won't be disappointed by Super Mario Galaxy. If you're new to games (as many owners of the Wii are), pick up this title to see why Mario is so popular. This is one of the best games to come out on the current generation of consoles and will not disappoint.

my favorite wii game5
So much fun. I especially like how long it takes to complete. Its like the old Mario games in that regard. So many newer games can be beat in a week and then you're stuck with an expensive game you'll never play again. Its fantastic.

A Lot of Cheerful Fun5
I am very glad I bought this along with my new Wii. It's just difficult enough to be a challenge, while permitting adequate progress (at least so far). Not too many repetitive do-overs, and the theme is both weird and fun. No software bugs encountered. The only minor ding I would have against it is that it is not as active as many Wii games. Other than shaking your wrist there is not any exercise here.
